Peaky Blinders is set in Birmingham after the end of the First World War in 1918. The TV show is based on the real gang the ‘Peaky Blinders’ who were active in Birmingham, UK, in the 19th and 20th centuries. 

The period drama stars Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy and was originally broadcast on the BBC.
